About Our Founder
Brian Bailey is Wisconsin born, Columbia MD raised, and UVA educated. He is a husband, father, brother, soccer fan, runner, coach, and British crime drama enthusiast.
Why start with the personal stuff? It is important to understand who you are teaming with for important IT initiatives! All of Brian’s experiences, both personal and professional, have shaped him into an exceptional IT professional.
Professionally, Brian has multiple decades of IT consulting experience in a variety of industries, for a variety of client sizes, and has successfully delivered projects for non-profit, associations, and commercial organizations.
Brian got his start at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) where he worked on large utility company projects. Andersen taught Brian about how important methodology and process are to successful projects. It also taught him that one-size doesn’t fit all from a process standpoint. You have to find the proper fit for each and every project.
Consulting stints at Perspective Technology Corporation, The Seva Group and Mind Over Machines followed with Brian serving a variety of roles including business analyst, developer, quality assurance tester, data architect, project manager, account manager, office manager, product designer and manager, director, and more.
While technologies have changed over the years and the types of solutions have evolved, what hasn’t changed is the need for business savvy consultants to help you get to the root of what you need and determine the best mix of processes and technology to get you there. That is where Brian excels. He is exceptional at helping clients understand and describe their business needs, determine how to get there, and then actually deliver on it!
